St Saviour’s Cathedral attracts thousands of visitors every year from many places and countries. This image of the carved stone pulpit and the sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows captures some of the awesome beauty of our cathedral. It was taken by a visitor from Sydney, NSW, Sharlene Townes, whose partner was thrilled to be able play the cathedral organ while she took some shots as mementoes of their visit. We would like to thank Sharlene Townes for sending this image for us to use on this website.
We welcome visitors to our Cathedral, and try to keep it open every day from 10am to 4pm. However this is subject to volunteers being available to act as guides - and sometimes they cannot be in attendance.
We suggest ringing the office on 02 4821 2206 to ascertain when/if the Cathedral is open for you to visit.
