Our Ministry Team

St Saviour’s has been a place of worship and ministry since the 1830s and continues to serve the city of Goulburn and the Diocese. The Cathedral is a visible witness to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus in a very particular place.

Rvd Gavin Krebs

Dean:
Gavin Krebs

Gavin brings a wealth of experience from various forms of Anglican worship. Born and raised in Moree, his spiritual journey began early in his life, leading him to become an active Christian and pursue academic studies at UNE (Armidale) where he met his wife, Anna. They have been married since 1992 and have three adult children living in Sydney.

Gavin’s career started in neurophysiology and pharmacy, serving as a community pharmacist for 19 years. He felt a calling to ordained ministry in 2012, completed a Master of Theological Studies, and was ordained as a deacon and priest at Saint Saviour’s Cathedral in 2018.

He has served in various parishes, most recently as the Rector of Saint Alban’s Anglican Church Woden. In his role as Dean, Gavin looks forward to working with the Diocese, Cathedral community and the wider community of Goulburn to grow the Cathedral as the spiritual and community heart of the diocese and the city of Goulburn, fostering a sense of Jesus’ love, grace, acceptance, and inclusivity.
