The
children’s Sunday programme designed for St Saviour’s
follows the best practice of present Faith
development
Children come
with their parents to Church.
They stay with them until the
end of the second lesson.
They have their own a special prayer book to encourage
& help them to join in.
After the Second
Lesson an introduction to the theme of the children’s
activity is given by a member of the staff.
The children then withdraw to the Mesac Chapel with a
teacher,
hear the story of the Gospel reading,
work on an the activity.
The
children rejoin the rest of the congregation at "the
Peace".
They then come to communion with their parents.
